Tiffany Nyenhuis stays warm with her two-year-old Chihuahua Taylor stuffed in her jacket as she walks around the track with her grandma Nancy Cranmer as they participate in the Muscle Walk Saturday, Oct. 15, at Kenowa Hills High School track. “She’s my own personal heater,” Nyenhuis said to her grandma. The walk was put on by Reed Lewis, who has Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, and the Kenowa Hills National Honor Society to raise funds for research and the Muscular Dystrophy Association of West and Southwest Michigan. The event raised $4,500 plus online donations that haven’t been counted yet.
